This 2.10 carat Montana sapphire was personally mined by PrairieGirlRocks at the Blue Jewel Mine in Montana.
The stone displays a classic Montana blue color.
One side of the crystal contains what I believe to be a noticeable surface-reaching fracture. Because of that, I encourage potential buyers to carefully examine the piece and determine whether the stone fits their intended use. An experienced cutter may be able to orient the stone to minimize the impact of the fracture, but that decision is best left to the buyer and or the cutter.
