If you build custom, modern jewelry, this piece was cut with you in mind. It features a crisp, geometric elongated kite shape with a light grey-brown body with sharp, dark brown to black spiderweb webbing.
Grinding sharp angles on a double-sided fossil stone takes patience and precise wheel work. Prior to shaping, I stabilized the raw material in Cactus Juice to lock in the strength of this piece. Both sides are polished into an elongated kite shape and weighing 5.52 grams.
